Load bearing and suspension elements are not to be welded or straightened.
Never move vehicles without drive axle installed, as otherwise wheel bearing damage will result. Should it nevertheless become necessary to move the vehicle, always heed the following:
^ Install an outer joint in place of the drive axle.
^ Tighten outer joint to 115 Nm (Bolt M14) or 190 Nm (Bolt M16).
Bonded rubber bushings can only be turned to a limited extent. The bolted connections on the suspension links should therefore only be tightened when the vehicle is standing on the ground.
Before bolting on the wheel, spray the center hole in the rim with wax spray D 322 000 A2.
