Note
The procedure is described for vehicles with manual transmission. On vehicles with automatic transmission also remove the secondary air injection pump.
1 - Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve -N75-
2 - Harness connector at Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve -N80-
3 - Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor 1 -G235- and Bank 2 Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor 1 -G236-
4 - Hose to brake booster at bulkhead
5 - Harness connector at Turbocharger Recirculating Valve -N249-
6 - Vacuum reservoir hose
7 - Harness connectors of fuel injectors at cylinder bank 1 and cylinder bank 2
8 - Hose to suction side of turbocharger, bank 2
9 - Harness connector at Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-
10 - Harness connector at Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-
11 - Pressure hoses
12 - Hose to bypass valve
13 - Harness connector at Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor -G42-
14 - Crankcase ventilation hose
15 - Hose to suction side of turbocharger, bank 1
Caution
Fire hazard! DO NOT smoke or work near heaters of have anything in the area that can ignite fuel. The fuel system is pressurized. Before loosening hose connections or opening the test connection), place a cloth around the connection.
