1) Also Super-unleaded RON 95 is permissible, however with reduced performance.

Tightening torques

Notes:
^ Tightening torques are valid only for nuts and bolts that are lightly greased, oiled, covered with a thin coat of phosphate or blackened.
^ Additional lubricants are permitted, e.g. engine oil or transmission fluid, however no graphite containing lubricants.
^ Do not use any degreased parts.
^ Tightening torque tolerance ± 15%.

1) Replace bolt
2) 180° correspond to 1/2 rotation
3) Replace bolt
4) 90° corresponds to 1/4 rotation

Coolant pump to cylinder block 10 Nm

Connecting Rod
Install connecting rod bearing caps and tighten to 30 Nm.
Clearance when new 0.015 to 0.062 mm
Wear limit 0.12 mm
Final Assembly Tightening Specifications
Rod Cap Bolt 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) plus 1/4 turn (90°)





Crankshaft bearing caps
- Replace bolts -A- and nuts -1 to 8-.
- Inserting alignment bushings into cylinder block
- Tighten bearing cap nuts or bolts in the following sequence:
1. Tighten bolts -A- by hand.
2. Tighten nuts -1 to 8- to 35 Nm.
3. Using rigid wrench turn nuts -1 to 8 an additional 90° (1/4 turn.
4. At the same time, tighten bolts -A- to 20 Nm.
5. Using rigid wrench turn nuts -A- an additional 90° (1/4 turn.
