General Information

Note:
^ Wheels should not be aligned until the vehicle has been driven 1,000 - 2,000 km, since it takes this long for the coil springs to settle (not applicable for Allroad).
^ Vehicle instability can also be caused by the wheels having a residual imbalance and/or radial runout which is too great.
Always measure wheel alignment using VW/Audi-approved wheel alignment equipment.
Wheel alignment checks must always include both the front and rear axles.

Note:
^ When making adjustments the relevant specifications must be adhered to as closely as possible.
^ Otherwise, the proper vehicle driveability cannot be ensured.

Wheel alignment must be checked if:
^ The vehicle shows handling problems.
^ There is accident damage.
^ Axle components have been removed.
^ Tires are worn on one side.
