With VAS5051

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, reading
Connect VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System . In selection touch vehicle system "02 Transmission Electronics". Ignition must be switched on.







Display on VAS 5051:
In selection -1- touch diagnostic function "02 Read DTC memory".







Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Contents of the DTC memory:

- 0 DTC detected

Or

- X DTC's detected

2 - DTC:
- DTC
- Location of DTC
- Type of DTC


A - If DTC's were recognized:
- Print out contents of screen or OBD protocol.
- End function "02 Read DTC memory" by (arrow) touching button.







Display on VAS 5051
- Repair malfunction(s) using DTC Chart.
- In selection touch diagnostic function "02 Read DTC memory" again and delete DTC memory.
- Touch "06 End output".

B - If no DTC was detected:
- Touch "06 End output".
