Transmission Mode Switch: Service and Repair

Tiptronic Switch -F189, CVT 01J, removing and installing
Removing
- Remove shift mechanism cover.





- Push down retainers -arrows- and pull cover-2 off guide -1-.
- Remove circuit board with integrated Tiptronic switch -F189.





- Disconnect both parts of guide by lifting the holding clasps-arrows-.
- Remove masking panel together with magnet for Tiptronic switch -F189.

Installing
Install in reverse order.
- Install shift mechanism cover.
