90 Missing outside temperature in IP cluster display





Condition

Outside temperature is missing in IP cluster driver information display.

Technical Background

The outside temperature display is disabled and must be activated in adaptation channel 19 of the dash panel insert.

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service

1. Select Vehicle Self Diagnosis >> 17 - Dash Panel Insert >> 010 - Adaptation.

2. Change the second digit from the right in existing adaptation value 19 from XXX0X to XXX1X.

On new diagnosis tester variants, leading zeros are not shown. In this case, the following may apply:

- Outside temperature display disabled: 0x or 0

- Outside temperature display enabled: 1x or 10

Parts replacement is not permitted. Removed dash panel inserts for this reason will be re-debited.
