Did A/C clutch disengage during cooling performance test?







Continued from (A/C clutch disengaged during cooling performance test)
- Check DTC memory with VAG1551 Scan Toll (ST), determine and rectify all displayed faults. Check DTC Memory (Function 02)
- Erase DTC memory and end output.
- Start engine.
- Input address word "08" on VAG1551 (do not press -Q- key).
- Repeat cooling performance test and note A/C clutch operation and cooling fan speed (stage 1 or 2).

Cooling performance meets specifications and A/C clutch did not disengage?

Was Coolant fan (V7) switched to stage 2 during the test?

- Unplug connector from refrigerant low pressure switch -F73- and bridge contacts of the vehicle harness connector.
- Repeat cooling performance test noting A/C clutch operation.

Cooling performance meets specifications?
