Seatback Heating Element Or Seat Heating Element, Replacing

CAUTION: Note safety specifications when working on airbag.

NOTE: Both rear seats do not have heat elements installed on seatback and seat cushion.

CAUTION: For vehicles with side airbag seat-heat element for back seat is combined with occupied seat sensor and can only be replaced together.

- Remove seatback or seat cover.

Heating Element (pushed Into Cover), Removing And Installing

NOTE: The removal and installation of the rear heating element is the same as the front seatback heating element.

Heating element (bonded), removing and installing
- Disconnect electrical wiring directly at seat cushion.
- Bond new heating element on old heating element.
