Antenna For Navigation System (GPS) -R50-, Removing And Installing

The antenna for navigation is located under the right defroster vent at the windshield.

Removing







- Defroster vent of front windshield -1 - cannot be removed without being destroyed.
- Pull defroster vent -1- upward, starting at the front.
- Break off retaining tab -2-.
- Using pliers, remove retaining tab -2- by tilting.







- Lift antenna for navigation -1- slightly upward (magnetic mount).
- Slide foam covering -2- on harness connector to side and disconnect.
- Remove antenna for navigation upward.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal. The windshield defroster vent must be replaced.
