Door Subframe
Door Subframe, Adjusting
- Door must already be adjusted
Longitudinal adjustment
- Unscrew lock nuts - 3 -, - 7 - and - 12 -.
- Also loosen M8 hexagon bolts (4 x) which secure subframe in door
- When adjusting toward the rear, it is necessary to first screw in adjuster screw - 4 -.
- One full turn is equal to approx. 1 mm. adjustment travel.
- Screw out adjuster screw - 6 - until collar of adjuster screw - 4 - is touching front of door again.
- When adjusting toward the front, use the same procedure in reverse.
NOTE: When tightening lock nuts to torque, secure adjuster screws to prevent them from turning (Torx T30).
- Tighten lock nuts - 3 -, - 6 - and - 12 - to 30 Nm.
- Also tighten M8 hexagon bolts securing subframe in door.
Adjusting height
- Loosen lock nuts - 3 - and - 7 - at top.
- Also loosen lock nuts - 12 - (bottom) and - 14 - (front and rear).
NOTE: When adjusting downward, also screw in stop bolt - 13 -.
- Height can now be adjusted with front and rear adjuster screws - 15 -.
- After completing adjustment, screw stop bolt - 13 - back out again as far as it will go.
NOTE: When tightening locking nuts to torque, hold adjuster screws to prevent them from turning (Torx T30).
- Tighten lock nuts - 3 - and - 7 - to torque.
- Also tighten lock nuts - 12 - (bottom) and - 14 - (front and rear).
Setting angle
- Pry out cover trims - 8 -, - 9 - and - 10 -.
- Loosen lock nuts - 12 - (bottom) and - 14 - (front and rear).
- Using front and/or back adjuster screws - 11 -, it is now possible to adjust angle.
NOTE: When tightening locking nuts to torque, hold adjuster screws to prevent them from turning (Torx T30).
- Tighten lock nuts - 12 - (bottom) and - 14 - (front and rear) to 30 Nm.
