Notes:
^ Terminal designations of test box VAG1598 A are identical with terminal designations of control module - J104 in wiring diagram. - Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component Locations binder
^ If measured values deviate from specified values, conduct "Measures for deviations from specified value" at the right side of the table. - Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component Locations binder
^ If values are attained, check wiring for short to positive (B+) and ground. Test for continuity using test set VAG1594 A (bridging connectors). If values deviate slightly from specified values, clean terminals and connector of test unit and test wires (with contact spray G 000 700 04) and repeat test. Before replacing respective component, check wires and connections and, in particular for all specified values under 10 Ohms, repeat resistance test to component.
