Code Control Module (Scan Tool Function 07)

If control module does not indicate coding corresponding to vehicle, or if control module has been replaced, code it as follows.

NOTE: Control module with Part No. 8N0 906 018 T was equipped with "06610" as a permanent code and cannot be re-coded.

- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select the control module for engine electronics using address word 01 Connecting VAS 5051/VAG1551 Scan Tool
Ignition must remain switched on for this.
