Headlight Securing Lugs, Servicing

NOTE:
- A broken headlight securing lug can be replaced by installing a repair set. Complete replacement of the headlight housing is unnecessary.
- Repair is identical for housings with normal (halogen) and High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) lamps.







- Remove remainder of broken mounting tab -1 - at the edge marked with an arrow.
- Slide metal nut -3- into mounting tab -2- from repair set.
- Secure mounting tab -2- using bolt -4- and washer from rear at headlight housing.

Right arrow indicates the separation edge of an intact mounting tab -5-.

NOTE: The mounting angles of the lower headlight housing mounting points can also be individually replaced.
