Instrument Cluster, Removing And Installing
Special tools and equipment
- Special hook for front end 3370
Removing
NOTE: Do not disassemble instrument cluster.
- Determining input values when replacing instrument cluster:
Do this using vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
- Pull steering wheel with adjusting mechanism fully out and move it downward.
- Remove lower cover at instrument cluster to rear using 3370 special hook.
- Disengage upper cover at instrument cluster.
- Remove bolts -arrows-.
- Remove instrument cluster to rear using 3370 special hook.
- Unclip securing bracket of connectors -arrow- and disconnect connectors.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:
- After installation, perform a function test of the instrument cluster.
- If the function test is OK, enter the input values for the instrument cluster:
