Door Lock, Removing







1 - Multi-point bolt M8
- 20 Nm
2 - Shim plate
3 - Door lock
- Door trim removed.
- Window regulator removed.
- Detach connector on door lock.
- If the same door lock is to be re-installed, disengage the operating rod on the door handle.
- If the door lock is to be replaced, disengage the operating rod on the door lock, see Fig.1.
- Unclip operating rod from door lock at sliding collar.
- Unscrew multipoint bolts -1- and take out door lock.

5 - Bowden cable for interior door handle
- To install as illustrated insert vertically in release lever then swivel 90 and as a security measure clip into door lock.

- When installing new door lock, clip operating rod -1- into sliding collar.
- Move slider -2- of sliding collar upward to lock operating rod.
- Remove locking pin -3- from door lock.
