^ Rollover protection testing is NOT required during the Perfect Delivery Inspection (PDI).

^ Testing rollover protection is required every two years after delivery, regardless of mileage.

^ Rollover Protection bars are activate (tested) by performing J234-Airbag Control Module, output DTM, using Guided Fault Finding in the VAS 5051 Diagnostic tool.

To prevent damage to the rear glass and rollover protection covers, precautions MUST be taken prior to testing the rear roll-over protection bars.

CAUTION!

Once top is in the full open and stored position:

- Place a towel over rear hatch behind each rollover bar trim cover.

- Remove trim covers by sliding hand under cover and lifting up on cover.
