Headlight washers do not work. Headlight washer pump is not functioning.

Service
- Check headlight washer pump fuse for an open circuit. Fuse is located in position 37 of the fuse panel located on the driver's side of the instrument panel.
If fuse is open or if fuse is OK but is less than a 30 Amp fuse:
- Replace fuse with a 30 Amp fuse.
If position 37 of fuse label is not identified as "30A Washer pumps":
Use a pen or marker and write in 30A to the right of "Washer pump" and cross out 20A or 25A.
Replace headlight washer pump -A- and install new headlight washer pump protective cover -B- as follows:
Headlight washer pump replacement procedure:
- Remove sound absorber pan.
- Disconnect pump electrical connector and washer hose.
- Remove pump.
- Install new pump
- Install pump protective cover (arrow).
Pump and reservoir shown removed for illustration purposes only (reservoir does not have to be removed to replace pump and install protective cover).
- Reinstall washer hose and electrical connector.
- Reinstall sound absorber pan.
- Refill washer fluid.
- Check headlight washer operation.
If headlight washers are still inoperative:
- Check circuit wiring, connections and signal from wiper / washer switch.
- Repair or replace as needed (Refer to repair manual).
