Tightening torques

Engine/ transmission bolted connection (transmission flange face).

Vehicles with 1.8 Liter 4-cyl. Turbo engine





Vehicles with 3.0 Liter V6 engine
- Check whether selector lever is in position "P" and carefully press socket end of selector lever cable -5- onto selector shaft lever -7-.

Note: Take care not to bend selector shaft lever when pressing it on, support it if necessary as otherwise selector mechanism can no longer be adjusted properly.

- Insert bolts -2- into mounting base -3- for selector lever cable and tighten to 23 Nm in transmission.





- Bolt transmission support to transmission (arrows).
- Install ATF lines with new seals from.
- Install exhaust system.
- Install drive shafts.
- Install drive shaft guards on left and right sides.
- Install tunnel crossmember.
- Check selector lever cable setting.
- Check oil level in front final drive.
- Align exhaust system so it is free of stress
- Electrical connections and routing:
- Refer to Wiring Diagrams
- Note additional steps required after reconnecting battery.
- Check ATF level.
