Component Overview
Component Overview
HD = High pressure side
ND = Low pressure side
1 - A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280- 1)
- Checking activation and function
2 - Compressor 1)
- Compressor from bracket, removing and installing
- When installing refrigerant lines/hoses and bracket, make sure there is a sufficient gap between belt, bracket and belt pulley
- The compressor construction differs depending on the engine
- Different compressor types are installed depending on country variants (e.g. Denso, model designation 7SEU series USA)
3 - Belt pulley 1)
- Replacing
- Ribbed belt, removing and installing 1)
- Ribbed belt part numbers: See Parts department.
NOTE:
- A rubber element is installed between the belt pulley and input shaft, this protects the compressor belt in the event that the compressor is seized or does not move freely.
- The rubber element disables the power transfer to the compressor, if the compressor produces friction.
- Vibrations which may occur during compressor operation can be eliminated via the rubber element (dampening function during torque tightening).
4 - Oil drain plug
5 - High pressure relief valve
6 - Circuit with valve
