Rear window, assembly overview







1 - Rear window
- On installation, note direction of joint -arrow- as shown in exploded view.
- After inserting window, push up toward roof until dimension -a- = 6.5 mm.
- Align window laterally.
2 - Adhesive end profile
- Bonding on next to bus bar.
- Make sure that adhesive is not in contact with heated rear window busbar.
3 - Adhesive bead
- Note different distances from edge of window:
- Distances -b- and -c- are achieved when you allow the application nozzle to touch each inner edge of the molding.
- Distance to lower edge of window dimension -d- equals 15 mm.
- Bead cross-section:
- Bead width = 8 mm ± 2 mm
- Bead height = 13.5 mm ± 1.5 mm
4 - Spacer
- Note different heights for standard glass and soundproof glass
- Position spacers on marks in ceramic screen printed area at a distance of 3 mm from lower edge of window.
