Removing and installing speed sensor on front axle
Removing
- Unfasten wheel bolts.
- Raise vehicle.
- Remove wheel.





- Unclip the speed sensor wiring from the retainers -1-.





- Unclip the speed sensor wiring from the retainers -1-.
- Disconnect the plug connection of the speed sensor wiring -2-.
- Unclip the speed sensor wiring from the retainers -2-.





- Detach grommet -1- from the wheel housing.
- Pull ABS speed sensor from wheel bearing housing.
- Detaching connector.

Installing
- Before inserting the speed sensor, install the sealing collar and coat the speed sensor all around with lubricating paste G 000 650.
- Install ABS speed sensor.
- Clip speed sensor wiring into retainers and install grommet in wheel housing.
- Install wheels and tighten to 120 Nm.
- Turn steering to full left lock and full right lock and check clearance of speed sensor wiring.
