Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal.
- Bonded rubber bushings can only be turned to a limited extent. The bolted connections should therefore only be tightened when the vehicle is standing on the ground.
Otherwise, the rubber bushing will be stressed and have a shortened service life.

Tightening torques:

Control arm to axle beam 70 Nm + 90
Always use new bolts.
Control arm to wheel bearing housing 95 Nm
Shock absorber to control arm 70 Nm + 90
Always use new bolts.
After installation, position of steering wheel must be checked with a road test.
If the steering wheel is crooked, an axle alignment must be performed!

Note: After installation is complete, check setting of parking brake! This might need adjustment.
