- The airbag unit is a class PT 1 pyrotechnic object, to be transported and stored according to laws governing potentially explosive substances.

Disposal of airbag units

NOTE: Whenever possible, airbag units must be deployed outside the vehicle. Use Airbag and Pyrotechnic Deployment Device J-44210 and follow instructions in booklet.

- Airbag units must be rendered inoperable before disposal, in line with accident-prevention regulations. This is to prevent the danger of injury caused by inexpertly activating pyrotechnic objects (i.e. using a blow torch when disposing).
