Engine Oil Pressure

Oil pressure at idling speed 1 to 2.5 bar
Oil pressure at 3000 rpm 3 to 5 bar

Note: If the oil pressure is excessively high (for example if pressure relief valve is sticking or has been installed incorrectly) the hydraulic lifters will jam. The engine will cut out soon after starting. When you try to start the engine again you will notice that the engine turns over too quickly due to lack of compression.
