Right cylinder head, removing

Note: All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be fitted in same position when installing.

Work sequence
- Remove engine
- Remove toothed belt.
- Remove camshaft sprocket.





- Unscrew idler wheel (arrow).
- Remove bolts -1- and -2- and take off rear toothed belt guard.
- Remove intake manifold.





- Unscrew bolt -2- and loosen hose clamp -4- to remove crankcase breather pipe.
- Remove coolant pipe going to cylinder head (bolts -1- and -3-).
- Remove rear coolant pipe.
- Remove combination valve (right) for secondary air system go.
- Remove right exhaust manifold.
- Remove right front exhaust pipe.
- Remove ignition coils.





- Remove bolts on right cylinder head cover in sequence -12- to -1-
- Remove cylinder head cover.





- Loosen cylinder head bolts in sequence -1- to -10-.
- Take off cylinder head and place it on a soft surface (such as foam plastic).
