Refrigerant Lines On Evaporator, Disconnecting And Connecting

Disconnecting
- Discharge A/C refrigerant system.
- Remove plenum cover.







- Remove bolt -A- (tightening torque: 15 Nm).
- Detach refrigerant lines from evaporator and seal off all open connections.


NOTE: To seal off all open connections for evaporator, cap -C- from replacement evaporator can be used (avoid dirt and moisture from entering the system).


Connecting
Installation is the reverse order of removal, observe notes and tightening torque (see removing notes)


NOTE:







- Replace both 0-Ring-seals -A- (16.7 mm x 1.8 mm) and -B- (10.8 mm x 1.8 mm).
- Install refrigerant lines free of stress.
- Make sure that grommet -D- is properly seated.
- Check position of refrigerant lines to evaporator, they should not come in contact with other components.


- Install all removed components again.
- Evacuate and recharge refrigerant circuit.
