Turbo Boost Sensor: Locations


Charge air cooler, removing and installing

Note: Removal of the left charge air cooler is described here.

Removing
- Remove front bumper
- Drain coolant.
- Remove air filter housing.





- Remove bolts (arrows) and remove air guide from lock carrier.





- Disconnect electrical harness connectors -1- to -3- from bracket and disconnect it.
- Expose cables.

Remove left headlight:





- Remove bolts -1-.
- Guide a long inner hex wrench -3- through hole and remove lower mounting bolt at headlight housing -2-.

Note: If necessary, use magnet to remove bolt.





- Slide headlight slightly into recess on fender (arrow -1-) and then swing it out (arrow -2-).
- Disconnect electrical harness connector.
- Remove headlight forward and out.





- Remove top air intake hose (arrows).





- Remove bottom air intake hose (arrows).





- Unscrew bolt (arrow).





- Unscrew bolts (arrows) and remove guide.





- Disconnect coolant hoses at positions indicated by (arrows).





- Unscrew bolts (arrows) and remove brace -1-.
- Remove rear air duct -2-.





- Unscrew bolt (arrow) and lift out charge air cooler.
- Remove auxiliary cooler, if necessary.

Installing
Install in reverse sequence; note following points:

Note:
^ Remove any traces of oil or grease on hose connections and hoses for charge air system before installing. Do not apply lubricant.
^ Secure all hose connections with correct hose clamps (same as original equipment), Refer to Parts Supplier.

- Install left headlight.
- Install front bumper
- Install air filter housing.
- Top off coolant.
- Adjust headlights:
