1) Pay attention to which hydraulic control the transmission has when selecting measuring value block.

Note: For malfunction recognition for DTC 002971 / P0722:

^ The DTC recognition process includes a plausibility test: the ratio of transmission RPM to engine RPM and transmission input RPM with the gear currently engaged is implausible. Requirement for test: a driving mode must definitely be selected (not P or D) or between gate positions and the shift must be complete.
