51 55 55 00 Cross Panel Upper Section, Replacing







Cutting locations
- Weld plenum panel to suspension strut mount and cross member seam.

CAUTION: Do not damage cast joint.

- Remove part.

NOTE:
- If plenum panel is not damaged it may be reused.
- Separating cuts also permit part replacement.
- MIG weld cut area, continuous seam.
- If plenum panel is replaced, stamp new chassis number.







- Make separating cut at cross member forward of left and right suspension strut mount.

CAUTION: Do not damage cast joint.

- Cut cross member plenum chamber weld seam.
- Make separating cut at cross member riveted flange.
- Remove part.
- Press out punched rivet which is now accessible.
- Remove remaining pieces.
