Rear View Mirror, Removing, Installing And Assembly Overview







1 - Mirror glass
- Use special tool 80-200 (removal lever) to unclip mirror glass
- Protect top and bottom of mirror housing from damage with fabric-backed adhesive tape

- Pry off mirror glass at the bottom first, then at the top.
- To install, insert mirror glass into guide stud and friction finger into friction spring, and press on.

- Always use protective gloves, and only exert pressure at center of glass

- Remove to disassemble mirror adjuster unit
4 - Torx bolts
- 1 Nm
- Remove to detach mirror adjuster unit
5 - Mirror adjuster unit
- To remove, pry off mirror glass, pull off electrical connections for mirror heater, remove Torx bolts - 4 - and take mirror adjuster unit out of mirror housing - 2 -.
6 - Torx bolt
- 1 Nm
