Steering Wheel (Sports Steering Wheel), Assembly Overview







1 - Self-cancelling ring with slip ring
2 - Connector for airbag unit
3 - Torx bolts T30 (2x)
- Tightening torque 7 Nm
4 - Connector for coil
5 - Steering wheel
- Removing
- Remove airbag unit (sports steering wheel).
- Center steering wheel (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Remove bolt - 6 -.
- Disconnect connector for coil - 4 -.
- Remove steering wheel - 5 -.
- Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
- Ensure that connector and catch engage fully (i.e. audibly).
- Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Replace bolt - 6 - and tighten to 50 Nm.
6 - Multi-point socket head bolt
- Tightening torque 50 Nm
7 - Airbag unit
