Toe constant "S", adjusting
- Loosen bolt -A-.
- Unscrew bolt -B- approximately 4 mm.
- Press down tie rod joint as far as it will go.
- Screw in adjusting screw -B- until exact specification is attained.
- Tighten hex nut -A- to 50 Nm and check value.
- Tighten bolt -B- to 7 Nm.
- Lower vehicle back to initial position.
- Screw down spindle.
- Bounce vehicles with standard suspension several times.
Checking toe constant following adjustment
The wheel alignment equipment now re-checks the toe constant.
Setting is OK if measured values in re-check are within tolerance for check value.
If measured values are not within tolerance for check value, re-adjustment must be performed in raised position.
