Hydraulic system, exploded view





1 - Brake fluid reservoir
2 - Supply hose
^ For master cylinder

3 - Hose assembly
^ For plug connections on master/slave cylinders
^ Detaching from master cylinder and installing
^ Detaching from slave cylinder

4 - Grommet
5 - Bracket





6 - Clutch pedal
7 - Master cylinder
^ Removing and installing
^ Clips (arrow A) and seal (arrow B) must not be removed
^ To remove the hose/pipe assembly, pull out the clip (arrow A) up to the stop

8 - Hex socket-head bolt - 20 Nm
9 - Mount
^ Replace only with master cylinder removed
^ Prying off





10 - Transmission
11 - Slave cylinder
^ Removing
^ Installing
^ Do not operate clutch pedal after slave cylinder has been removed.
^ After working on hydraulic clutch mechanism, bleed slave cylinder
^ Detach from hose/pipe assembly

12 - Bleeder valve
^ Tighten to 4.5 Nm
^ Follow correct work sequence when bleeding
^ A broken bleeder valve can be screwed out with a 3 mm hex socket wrench





13 - Dust cap
14 - Clamp
^ To remove the line, pull out the clamp to the stop

15 - Bracket
^ For hose/pipe assembly
^ Fastened together with slave cylinder to transmission

16 - Hex socket-head bolt - 25 Nm
^ Slave cylinder to transmission
^ Self-locking
^ Always replace

17 - Retaining clip
18 - Gasket
19 -Bolt
^ For brake fluid reservoir

Removing
- To remove the hose/pipe assembly, lever out the clip -A- up to the stop using a screwdriver. Only then can the hose/pipe assembly be pulled out.

Installing
- Press in clip -A- to stop.
- Push hose/pipe assembly into slave cylinder until it engages audibly.
- To check, pull on the hose/pipe assembly.
