Brake calipers, servicing

Note:
^ Install complete repair set when servicing.
^ Apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.





1. Brake carrier
^ Bolt to brake caliper housing
2. Guide pin, 30 Nm
3. Caps
^ Insert into bearing bushing
4. Protective cap
^ Attach to bleeder valve
5. Bleeder valve, 10 Nm
^ Apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 to thread before screwing in
6. Bushing
^ Insert into brake caliper housing
7. Brake caliper housing
8. Retaining spring
^ Pay attention to correct installation position.
^ Engage on both studs of brake caliper housing and on the outer pad retaining spring.
9. Dust seal
^ Do not damage when inserting piston
^ Coat with brake cylinder paste G 052150 A2
10. Piston
^ Apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 to piston before inserting
11. Seal
^ Coat with brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2
