Air Extraction Vent, Checking







- The sealing flaps -B- in air extraction vent -A- must move freely and be able to close by themselves.


NOTE:
- This illustration shows the air extraction vent after removal of the rear bumper.
- The vehicle is installed with two air extraction vents (left and right) for forced air extraction.
- In order for the vehicle interior ventilation to work properly, the air ducts which run through the luggage compartment trim must be unobstructed.







- Objects placed in the left and right luggage compartment storage boxes may interfere with the operation of the forced extraction vents. This should be checked if symptoms are reported.
- Obstructions in the air extraction vent -A- may cause the windows to fog up.
