A Brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F47-
- Component location, See Fig.3
B Diagnostic connector
- Located in knee bolster on driver's side
C Fuel Pump (FP) Relay -J17-
- Component location, See Fig.2
D Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) voltage supply relay -J271-
- Not installed on all construction versions
- Component location, See Fig.4
E Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G79- and sender 2 for accelerator pedal position - G185-
- Component location, See Fig.1
- When replacing, adapt kickdown function, to do so switch on ignition and press accelerator pedal all the way down past the kickdown point and hold in position for at least 20 seconds
- Removing and installing accelerator pedal module

9 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
- At coolant pipe behind cylinder head bank 1

- If necessary, release pressure in cooling system before removing
10 Throttle valve control module -J338-
- With throttle drive (power accelerator actuation) -G186-, angle sensor -1- for throttle drive (power accelerator actuation) -G187-, and angle sensor -2- for throttle drive (power accelerator actuation) -G188-
- When replacing, perform adaptation, for this purpose switch on ignition for at least 20 seconds without starting engine or depressing accelerator pedal
11 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve -N112-
