Basic Setting
- Press - button until following display appears:





- Indicated on display
- Press buttons O and 4 to select basic setting (function 04). Press --Q- button to confirm input.





- Indicated on display
- Press buttons 0, 0 and 8 to select "Performing Short trip UP 28 . Press - button to confirm input.





- Indicated on display
- Press 4
- Push brake pedal several times (brake booster) until test is activated.





- Indicated on display
- Brake pedal must not be used during test activation.

The pump evacuates the brake booster. The diagnosis of the brake booster system runs in parallel in the control module. The system passes the test if the pressure in the brake booster reaches the shut-off threshold within the time limit set by diagnostic function (max. 20 see).





- Indicated on display (function selection):
- Press 8
- Remove diagnostic cable from diagnostic connection
Or:





- Indicated on display (function selection):
If after test the system is not OK, read out fault memory and rectify malfunction (ignition OFF).
- Afterward perform short trip again.
