^ Remove transmission.
^Remove torque converter or secure it against dropping out





^ Hang up transmission in sling 3311 and insert it into repair fixture VW 313 using workshop crane VAG 1202A.

Note: Before turning the filled transmission over with the oil pan facing up, close the vent holes for the transmission housing and final drive.
