Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1410







1 - Extension for center console
2 - Rear vent
- Remove cup holder unit with small storage compartment lid.
- Unscrew bolts - 4 -.
- Pull out rear vent unit - 2 - and in doing so disconnect connectors
- Remove A/C operating unit - 3 - from rear.
3 - Rear A/C operating unit
- Remove cup holder unit with small storage compartment lid.
- Unscrew bolts - 4 -.
- Pull out rear vent unit - 2 - and in doing so disconnect connectors
- Press out A/C operating unit - 3 - from rear.
4 - Bolts (2x), 2.5 Nm







Disconnecting connector for A/C operating unit
- To disconnect connector at rear Climatronic Control and display Module, press catch - 1 -, turn holder in-direction of arrow-and disconnect connector.
