Right Cylinder Head Cover

Removing

- Remove the engine covers - 1 and 2 - upward.





- Remove the hose - 1 -.





- Disconnect the hose - 1 -.





- Unclip the hose - 2 -.

- Remove the air intake tube - arrows -.

- Disconnect the hose - 1 -.





- Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors - 2 -.

- Remove the fuel distributor - 3 - and lay aside.

Do not open the fuel supply and return lines.

- Remove the ignition coils.

- Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

- Remove the toothed belt cover.

- Remove the right cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 12 to 1 -.





- Remove the cylinder head cover.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Replace cylinder the head cover gasket and ignition coil seals if damaged.

Replace the bolts for the cylinder head cover if the gasket is damaged.

- Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

- Apply a thin bead of sealant (diameter approximately 5 mm) - arrows - to the edges of the sealing surfaces between the bearing cap and cylinder head.





- Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 12 to 1 -.
