Fuse/Relay Panel In Electronics Box In Plenum Chamber, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required







- Extractor T10130

Removing

NOTE: All cable ties unfastened or cut open on removal are to be re-attached in same position on installation.

- Disconnect battery.







- Pull off rubber seal -1- of plenum chamber cover.
- Remove plenum chamber covers -2- and -3-.
- Use screwdriver to pry off caps at wiper arms and unscrew hex nuts.







- Remove and remove wiper arms from wiper shaft using extractor T10130.







- Remove screws -arrows- on left and right for cowl panel grille -1-.
- Carefully pull cowl panel grille off fastener at windshield.







- Remove screws -arrows-.
- Remove both retainers and engine control module from plenum chamber electronics box.
- Lay aside engine control module with attached connectors.







- Give Sensor for air quality -G238- -item 1 - 90 degrees counter-clockwise turn and remove it from mount.
- Release clips -arrows-.
- Open plenum chamber electronics box cover slightly and pull off to front.







- Release catches -arrows- and lift off relay and fuse box in electronics box.

NOTE: Ignore item -1-.

- Unclip plug-in sockets for multi-pin connectors.







NOTE: Fuse/relay assignments

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE: Re-attach all cable ties at the same locations when re-installing.

- Reconnect battery.
- Refit wiper arms.

Tightening torque
