Fuse Panel In Left Instrument Panel, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Disconnect battery.

WARNING: When working on knee airbag, observe safety precautions for working on airbags.

- Remove driver's side storage compartment:







- Remove nuts -arrows- and remove knee airbag bracket -1-.







- Remove screws -1- from fuse box -2-.
- Release retainer tabs and remove fuse box from central tube for instrument panel.







- Cut open cable tie -1-.
- Release cover for fuse box -arrows-.
- Remove fuses from fuse box.







- Pull off retaining strip for connectors -arrows- and take connectors from fuse box.
- Disconnect multi-pin connector -1-.

NOTE: Fuse assignments







Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE: Re-attach all cable ties at the same locations when re-installing.

- Reconnect battery.

Tightening torques

Fuse box to instrument panel central tube 3
Knee airbag bracket to instrument panel central tube 3(1)
(1) Always replace nuts
