Left Suction Jet Pump, Removing And Installing

Removing
Observe safety precautions.
Observe rules for cleanliness.

- Remove left fuel delivery unit.
- Remove left side Fuel Supply Sensor 3 -G237- (tabular sensor) out of fuel tank.







- Disconnect suction jet pipes -1- and -3- from Y-connector through left opening of fuel tank, press release button to do so.







- Press release buttons (arrows) through right opening of fuel tank and disconnect delivery line -1-.

NOTE: Disregard -item 2-.

- Pull out delivery line through left opening of fuel tank.







- Press release button (arrow) through left opening of fuel tank and remove retainer for suction jet pipes from mount.
- Remove left suction jet pump with lines from left opening of fuel tank.

Installing







- Insert left suction jet pump -1- in fuel tank so that it lies in cut-out in baffle plate -2- in front in fuel tank, as shown in illustration.
- Press in retainer for suction jet pump until it engages audibly into the mount.
- Slide delivery line through left opening of fuel tank to the right fuel tank chamber. Note routing.







Delivery line -3- must be routed under fuel filling line -2- in area of left fuel tank opening.

NOTE: Disregard -item 1-.







- Connect delivery line -1- to right fuel delivery unit until retaining tabs engage audibly.

NOTE: Disregard -item 2-.







- Insert suction jet pipes -1- and -3- into left opening of fuel tank until they engage audibly on Y-connector.
- Insert Fuel Supply Sensor 3 -G237- into fuel tank.
- Install left fuel delivery unit.
