Power steering pump, reservoir, hydraulic lines, assembly overview
Vehicles with 8-cyl. engine, assembly overview
Servicing of power steering pump is not permitted. If problems are encountered, determine the cause by means of a pressure test and leak test. If a malfunction is detected, replace the vane pump.

Note:
^ If there is a lack of fluid in the reservoir check steering system for leaks.
^ If a leak is found in the area of the line connections, first check lines/line connections for leaks, re-tighten if necessary and wipe dry.
^ Replacement pumps are not filled with fluid. Therefore, before installing, always fill with hydraulic fluid G 002 000 and turn by hand, otherwise noises in driving mode or pump damage may occur.
