Contact corrosion can occur if incorrect connecting elements (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.), rivets, plugs, grommets, adhesive, etc., are used.

For this reason, the manufacturer only uses compatible fasteners, coated with a special surface coating if necessary.

In addition, rubber or plastic parts and adhesive are made of materials that do not conduct electricity.

These tested parts are also available as replacement parts.

If you are not sure about the suitability of parts, install new parts.

• Original replacement parts are recommended because they have been tested.

• It is recommended to use Audi accessories.

• Damage resulting from contact corrosion is not covered by the warranty.
