Cooling system components, removing and installing

WARNING: The cooling system is pressurized when the engine is warm. When opening the expansion tank, wear gloves and other appropriate protection. Cover the cap with a rag and open carefully to relieve pressure slowly

Note:
^ Cooling system is pressurized when engine is warm. Dissipate pressure if necessary before starting repair work
^ Secure all hose connections with standard hose clamps; Refer to Part Supplier
^ Use VAG 1921 clamp pliers when installing spring-type clamps.
^ Replace gaskets and O-rings.
^ Arrows must be align on coolant pipes and ends of coolant hoses.
