Drive Chain For Timing Mechanism, Removing and Installing


Drive chain for timing mechanism, removing and installing

Removing
- Remove camshaft timing chains.
- Remove PTO chain.





- Detach guide rail -1- at left cylinder head.
- Unscrew chain tensioner -2-.





- Detach guide rail -1- at right cylinder head.
- Unscrew chain tensioner -2-.





- Press tensioner guide rail for drive chain in direction of (arrow) and set chain tensioner with 3.3 mm diameter drill bit item -4-.
- Make color mark to indicate direction of timing chain.
- Screw out bolts -2- and -3- and detach sprockets with drive chain and guide rail -1-.

Installing
Install in reverse order, note the following:

Note: Replace bolts lightened by turning through a specified angle.

- Install PTO chain.
- Install camshaft timing chains.
