Rear axle (all wheel drive), assembly overview

Note:
^ Always replace self-locking nuts1bolts.

Before performing repair work on rear axle on Audi Allroad, level control system must be deactivated in normal level setting.





1. Hex bolt MS x 22
2. Stabilizer bar
3. Clamp
4. Self-locking nut, 20 Nm
^ Always replace after disassembly
5. Hex bolt M10 x 50
6. Coupling link
^ Installation position: curved part faces outward
7. Self-locking nut, 50 Nm
^ Always replace after disassembly
8. Thread In wheel well
^ If thread in wheel well weld nut is damaged, it can be repaired using Helicoil thread insert
9. Hex bolt, 45 Nm
10. Suspension strut
^ Note different types of springs, see vehicle data sticker
11. Self-locking nut, tighten to 70 Nm plus an additional 90°
^ Always replace after disassembly

16. Hex bolt M12 x 1.5 x 95
^ Always replace after disassembly
17. Hex bolt M12 x 1.5 x 95

19. Self-locking nut, 95 Nm
^ Always replace after disassembly
