Rear air spring shock absorbers (Allroad), assembly overview
1. Self-locking hex nut, 27 Nm
^ Always replace after disassembly
^ first remove air compressor plugs
2. Air spring
^ Installation refer to Fig. 1
3. Shock absorber
4. Clip
5. Self-locking nut, tighten to 70 Nm plus additional 90° turn
^ Always replace after disassembly
6. Washer
7. Air spring shock absorbers
8. Hex bolt M 12 x 1.5 x 95
^ Always replace after disassembly
9. Connection piece

10. Air line
^ Clip the air lines into markings provided for them.

12. Hex bolt, 45 Nm

Bayonet connection must be absolutely clean.
^ Coat rubber sealing rings -1- and -2- with G 052 150 A2 lithium lubricant
^ Close bayonet connection by simultaneous pressing and turning.
